Thanks to generous support from the Henry Luce Foundation, SEAREG is able to offer a limited number of travel grants to individuals wishing to attend SEAREG Conferences.
These grants may be used to defray the costs of travel, accommodations, registration fees and/or incidentals for students traveling to the conference.
Grantees will be chosen based on their scholarly promise as Southeast Asianists as well as attendance at the previous SEAREG meetings. Preference will be given to Ph.D. students and early scholars, but all are welcome to apply.
The deadline to apply for a travel grant for the Winter Conference, December 4-6, 2025, at UC San Diego, is October 15, 2025.
