Faculty provided resident advisors and short term support to the Kenya Local Government Reform Program (KLGRP) from 2001 to 2006. The work, funded through a multi-year contract with the UK Department of International Development (DFID), focused on central-local fiscal transfers, performance based grants, property taxes and business licenses, revenue mobilization, local government financial management and participatory planning.
