With UNCDF funding, faculty led a team of two Nepali researchers for a Fiscal Decentralization Stocktaking study with the Local Bodies Fiscal Commission in 2010 and 2011. This study identified the extent to which the Local Self Governance Act (1999) had been implemented to identify lessons and a way forward as input to the new federal-based constitution.
