Under a USAID project, faculty evaluated tax policies to identify revenue-enhancement measures and supported the establishment of a tax policy unit within Ghana’s Ministry of Finance from 2002 to 2003. In 2009, faculty also provided follow-up support on tax analysis and revenue forecasting, with specific focus on gold mining.
