Stephanie Lowd most recently served as faculty events coordinator at the Duke Law School, establishing the new position to streamline and accommodate the growing number of conferences, workshops, and high profile guests. Prior to joining Duke, she was the program coordinator for Columbia Law School’s Graduate Legal Studies program, which enrolled 250 foreign trained lawyers from over 50 countries focusing in areas such as judiciary, NGOs, civil and human rights, private practice and more. A native North Carolinian, she earned her bachelor’s degree of music in opera from the University of North Carolina School of the Arts, singing professionally throughout the U.S. for 10 years. In her spare time, Stephanie enjoys circuit training and boxing, volunteering at a therapeutic horse ranch, and spoiling her nephews and niece.
