MIDP 2013

Robert Neal is working for Development Alternatives, Inc. (DAI), a United States based NGO as the Revenue Policy Officer for the Revenue Generation for Governance and Growth project.The project, RG3 is building staff capacity at the Ministry of Finance and Development Planning (MFDP) and the Liberia Revenue Authority (LRA), to improve domestic revenue mobilization in Liberia.

Aldo Perfetto is working for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Caracas,Venezuela, where he is in charge of the sustainable development desk. In this position, he has achieved impressive goals, including promoting the 2030 Sustainable Development Agenda at the highest political level which, ultimately, is a bridge a for enabling a conversation between opposing political groups.

Betty Tushabe started a consultancy with the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) as a legal and regulatory senior advisor on an industrial policies project.

Himmat Patel recently started a new job as senior manager at MicroSave, a financial inclusion consulting company.

Marie Veyrier and her husband welcomed two twins into the world, and will be starting their new lives together in Ghana, where Marie will be working with the Global Shea Alliance.

Verónica Toledo had her Duke Engage project selected for 2017 and will be bringing students to the Chilean Patagonia, Huilo Huilo Biological Reserve for 8 weeks to work on social and environmental projects. She currently holds the role of Conservation Director at the reserve and is excited to share her knowledge and experience with the students.

Vera Lalchevska received her Ph.D. in Development Studies at the Graduate Institute of International Development Studies in Geneva, Switzerland and plans to stay in Geneva in order to influence international policy on human rights and political affairs.

Santosh Thiruthimana began a new job as Director, DFS with the Aga Khan Agency for Microfinance in Washington, DC.

Cynthia Viveros-Cano is now the Humanitarian Affairs Officer for the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs in Syria.
