Join us for a one-hour conversation with Andrew Selee, President of Migration Policy Institute, who will discuss COVID-19 and its impact on migration in the Americas. The first part of the discussion will focus on migrants in the U.S., and the second part will take a look at South America and how COVID-19 has impacted the existing socio-political turmoil. The talk will be led by Sarah Bermeo (Duke Center for International Development) and Piotr Plewa (Duke University Center for International and Global Studies). The virtual event is free and open to the public, but pre-registration is required.
This event is the second in a series on COVID-19 and international development sponsored by the Sanford School of Public Policy and the Duke Center for International Development.
