Sanjay Kumar, senior fellow at DCID, served as Senior Director in Tax with Deloitte India. He has more than 28 years’ experience with the Indian Revenue Service. He has worked extensively on tax administration reforms; last assignment in the government being Secretary, Tax Administration Reform Commission. He is also an IMF-empaneled tax administration assessor. Kumar has been teaching at Duke University since 2007. He holds a PhD in Development Studies, and master’s degrees in Economics and Physics, and has published a number of papers in reputed international and national journals.
