Brij Kishore is a Senior Fellow at DCID with over 35 years of national and international experience in policy, program and project development, administration and management. He has worked in several key government departments in the State Government of Uttar Pradesh and the Government of India as well as served as the United Nations/ESCAP senior expert and regional adviser on environmental management for Asia and the Pacific for almost 15 years. He was research associate with the East West Center, Honolulu, and International Development Research Centre, Canada, on environmental economics and policy. Kishore has extensive experience in Asia providing technical assistance on general and specific environmental management and sustainable development issues and has published over 50 research papers and reports. He holds a master’s degree in Physics from Allahabad University, India.
