David Thompson, a 2000 graduate of the MIDP program and Returned Peace Corps Volunteer, was recently appointed to lead the Policy, Outreach, Strategy and Evaluation Unit within the Office of Development Planning of the U.S. Agency for International Development’s Africa Bureau. In this role, he works with USAID missions in Africa to develop five-year strategic plans that outline how resources will be used for development initiatives.
