2022 Society of Policy Scientists Annual Institute Nov. 17-19

The Duke Center for International Development and the Sanford School of Public Policy partnered with the Society of Policy Scientists to host the 2022 Policy Scientists Annual Institute on November 17-19. The conference took place on Duke’s campus in Durham, NC.

Conference Overview

The conference aims to advance knowledge and practice in the policy sciences in the service of human dignity for all. Conference participants presented research and reports on their findings across a diverse array of policy areas. Attendees also participated in a training on the nuances of the policy sciences approach and given the opportunity to reach out to others interested in the policy sciences as a prominent approach to policy analysis and action.

Topics for this year’s Annual Institute included policy challenges related to global food insecurity, minoritized and indigenous communities, climate finance, and environmental justice.
